Our intre-pug pack of terrier-ific lifters and doggone great coaches made their way north to Grrreeley West Highland School for our regional meet.

The com-pup-tition was fierce but our pug-sistant lifters – Andy, Luis, Jimmy, Anthony, Ryan, Jack, Mai-Lin, Thomas and Robert – per-fur-med paw-some lifts!

Coaches Natalie, Rebekah, Jonathan and Jake, and, of course, The Dogfather, guided our lifters as they earned:

10 First Place Ribbons

8 Second Place Ribbons

7 Third Place Ribbons

3 Fourth Place Ribbons

Our lifters didn’t hold back.

Jack set a PR in the bench of 135 lbs. He also set a PR in the deadlift of 210 lbs.

Robert set a PR in the deadlift of 245 lbs.

Ryan set a PR in the deadlift of 215 lbs.

Anthony tied his PRs in both the bench and deadlift. and Thomas tied his PR in the deadlift!

Our very own Mai-Lin led the Athlete’s Oath during the opening ceremonies.
