To celebrate the 2025 season, the Rude Dogs gathered at Golden Retriever Corral for our 2025 Team Dinner.

Our lifters, coaches and family members feasted while The Dogfather gave a grrrreat speech, recounting the paw-some year our lifters had! This was Rude Dogs’ 23rd season and we’re already looking forward to our 24th season in 2026!

This year we welcomed new lifters Guion, Ben, Robert, Jack and Che to The Bark Side. We welcomed Josh and Eryn to our doggone grrrrreat Rude Rec coaching team along with returning coaches Gabe, Jonathan, Anjelica and Rebekah. We welcomed Nick, Will and Allison to our fur-endly neighborhood M+M coaching team along with returning coaches Amanda, Josh, Joe, Renee and Adam.

Our lifters set 63 PRs during the season including 11 State Records.

They earned 16 – 1st place ribbons, 7 – 2nd place ribbons, 5 – 3rd place ribbons and 3 – 4th place ribbons at Regionals back in April.

They went on to earn 16 Gold Medals, 5 Silver Medals, 2 Bronze Medals, 4 – 4th place ribbons and 1 – 5th place ribbon at State in June.

Tom commented that the pack gets smaller some years and larger other years but, regardless of its size, our team is always a terrier-ific family. He closed with his traditional reminder: This isn’t his team, it’s all y’all’s team.
