Our athletes traveled pup-town for the last M+M Mighty Mutts practice of the 2025 season.

Our lifters – Jimmy, Ben, Mai-Lin, RJ, Che, Robert, Jack, Zach and T – worked with the fur-endly neighborhood Mighty Mutts coaches – Amanda, Josh, Adam, Will, Joe, and Renee – for one last practice before the State Games in Grand Junction. Coach Ozzie, who was a Mighty Mutts coach last season, was visiting from CU Boulder and said “hi” to everyone.

Our athletes per-fur-med terrier-ific lifts! Ben set a PR in the deadlift of 276! Jack set a PR in the bench of 132 and then set two PRs in the deadlift, lifting 165 and then 187! Mai-Lin set a deadlift PR of 167! Che set a deadlift PR of 276!

We will face Mastiff competition at State, but we will be ready!

This was also the last practice at M+M’s 9th Street location. Owners/Coaches Amanda and Josh have announced that M+M is moving this fall! The new location will be at 110 Yuma St, Denver. (Google Maps link.)

The move will give M+M an additional 1,200 square feet of space, reliable a/c and heat, and updated office facilities. One of the “best” new features will be a barking lot! No more circling the block in an attempt to find barking!
