The athletes gathered for a final practice before we head west across the Rockies to the State Games in Grand Junction. Our dog-gone great coaches and terrier-ific team moms worked with the athletes to make sure they are ready to compete. If there are no problems on I-70, the trip should be a lot quicker than when the first pup-oneers of power lifting traveled west across the mountains in search of green lights many years ago.

Several of our members returned from the USA Games with medals. Bill and Tania competed in power lifting. Bill won a Bronze medal in the squat, 4th place in the bench, Silver in the dead lift and Bronze overall. Tania won Gold in the bench and Silver in the squat, dead lift and overall. Jimmy completed in Bocce and won Silver in singles, Gold in doubles and 5th place in Team (4 member) play.

Pup-arrazo David also returned with his camera and got some paws-atively great shots of the final practice for 2022. Coach Jonathan was in the Golden Chair.
